Although its just a session to fit the right gown size for the CIBTAC Graduation Ceremony.... we can see moments of satisfaction, proudness and sense of achievements of our Graduands!

Graduation is a special moment for both the graduates and their families because it marks the end of a long journey filled with hard work and accomplishments! Special thanks to Justina for the beautiful "huat kueh"!

Gentle reminder on Gown Fitting Dates:

29 Nov, Sunday : (1pm to 5pm)
30 Nov, Monday : (6.30pm to 8pm)

Graduation Ceremony : 26 Dec 2009 (Sat) @ Singapore Recreation Club
Time : 2pm to 5pm (seated by 1.30pm)



As this is a formal occasion, we appreciate your understanding that all graduand and guests are requested to keep to the dress code as follows:

For graduand:

Male : Long-sleeved shirt with tie, dark-coloured pants and formal shoes.
Female : Collared-blouse (if possible), dark-coloured skirt/pants and formal shoes.

Guests : Smart Casual

HIRE OF CIBTAC GRADUATION GOWN

Serangoon Broadway Studio(so far, the only source for Beauty Diploma Graduation Gown) had reverted on the cost for Gown Hire. Details as follows:

Rental cost per gown : $60.00 nett (incl laundry and ironing charge)

Size S : Shoulder Size : 14"
Length : 42"

Size M : Shoulder Size : 15"
Length : 44"

Size L : Shoulder Size : 16"
Length : 46"

Size XL: Shoulder Size : 17"
Length 48"

The initial request for $200.00 security deposit per gown will be undertaken by SingTrain Academy to minimise students' financial "burden". However, should there be any damage on the gown, student would have to bear the forfeiting of deposit.

We will collect sample of each gown size and arrange for students to come to the Academy for fitting over 29 Nov (Sun 1pm to 5pm), 30 Nov and 04 Dec (6.30pm to 8pm).

Will be sending invitation to students and guests who will be attending the Graduation soon.

王若琳 is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, daughter of famous music producer 王治平. Born in Taipei but raised in Los Angeles, the 21-year-old Taiwan jazz singer was appraised to "have an equivalent marvelous jazz voice" to Norah Jones and Lisa Ono.... my favourite singers.

When I was in Taipei, the driver who picked us from airport was playing her CD. She really sounds marvellous & unique. Hope you all like it!

LAUNCH OF CIBTAC DIPLOMA IN BODY MASSAGE - JAN 2010

 

For SPA establishment who wishes to apply for Licensing for Category I & II Massage Establishments,wef from 1 Jun 2009, your therapists are required to have the following qualifications:

(i) Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC)
Aesthetic Diploma for Face;
(ii) CIBTAC Body Massage Diploma and CIBTAC Anatomy & Physiology Diploma;
(iii) CIBTAC Spa Therapy Diploma;

Details of CIBTAC Diploma In Body Massage:

Course Duration : 40 hours
Outline : Swedish Massage techniques, Contraindications, A&P, After Care
Assessment : 1 hour practical and half hour multiple choice theory questions
Course Fees: S$780.00 (excluding exam fees of approximately S$220.00)
Subsidy : SDF and SRP approved

Intake : Jan 2010 (Every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm)

HAIRSTYLING - MOCK EXAM

EXAM FEVER is now with our NITEC in Hairstyling students who will be taking their 1st examination on 16 Nov 2009.

Stress and tension are inevitable. Nonetheless, we hope that the Mock Exam conducted by Ben Laoshi today would help put their "nerves" at ease.
