May 2007 marks SingTrain Academy 1st year of establishment in offering Certification Courses in the SPA and Beauty Industry. As we take stock of our humble achievements for the last one and a half year, we sincerely wish to thank our Training Partners, our Dedicated Trainers, Assessors and Supervising Assessors and our learned Students for their co-operation and pro-activeness which makes skills upgrading more accessible and interesting.
Our special appreciation to Community Development Councils, Social Services, CDAC, MUIS for strengthening our level of collaboration between the various community-based help agencies and not forgetting WDA and related agencies (SDF &B SRP) for their administrative support in granting training funds.
With SPA & Beauty Industry migrating to WSQ (Workforce Skills Qualification System) by 3rd quarter of 2008, we would be embarking on the path to tackle these new challenges.
In the meantime, we will continue to strive and offer more industry-related certifiable courses as well as workshops to meet the skills-set upgrading needs of Therapists and Beauticians.
